Humble Police Department is about ready to close registration on applications to the 33rd class of their Citizens Police Academy.REGISTER HERE! The 10-week Citizens Police Academy class is offered free of charge to residents of Humble and the surrounding area. The classes will be every Thursday evening starting on February 21, 2019 PROMPTLY at 6:00PM.Each week will bring a new and exciting topic that will be taught by HPD staff of officers, telecommunicators, civilian employees and guest speakers. The classes cover everything from Crime Scene Investigation, Active Shooters, Detective and Patrol Division operations, Crisis Intervention, Firearms and many more. In addition, there will be a mock crime scene exercise as well as an evening participating in scenarios where YOU get to be the police officer. This class is designed to accommodate everyone. HPD has had students that just turned 18 and those all the way up into their 90's.Click here to register for the class! Once on the site, read all the information.
