According to reports from PCT 4, on December 4, 2018, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded the 17600 block of Bridger Bend Lane in the Eagle Springs subdivision in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.

Upon deputies arriving, the complainant stated an unknown suspect made entry into her vehicle and stole items from her vehicle, including the complainant's purse, wallet and cell phone.

Further investigation revealed that the complainant's stolen credit card had just been used at a local business by the unknown suspect. Constable Deputies obtained photos of the suspect from the store's surveillance video.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black baseball style cap and a red hoodie sweatshirt.

"If you have any information regarding this case, you are urged to call our dispatch at 281-376-3472 and advise them you have information in reference to case number 1812-00372." -Constable Mark Herman

That's the gated section of ES. I guess that extra $800 they have to spend on HOA fees doesn't make them any safer.

The have-nots will always go the where the haves live to steal the good stuff. We get too complacent out here in the burbs thinking that we can leave our stuff less than totally secured. Eagle Springs is far from being an unsafe place to live.

Eagle Springs is definitely not the most affluent neighborhood in Atascocita. I don't think anyplace in Atascocita or Humble is a dangerous place to live. Just between the post on this forum and the Eagle Springs facebook seems like a lot of crime is posted about Eagle Springs.

To clarify my statement of "ruff" it was a bad attempt at humor.

The keywords are these "Upon deputies arriving, the complainant stated an unknown suspect made entry into her vehicle and stole items from her vehicle, including the complainant's purse, wallet and cell phone." and as aweful and wrong and violating as it is, I have such a hard time sympathizing with people that really just don't get the message that you don't leave anything in your car, and if you do, it will be stolen. It sucks that we have to live like this, but man, we have criminal element down here in the worst way.

@chasinghosts : I agree, I know she's the victim and shouldn't be judged or whatever but leaving your purse unattended is not a gread decision
