Deputies Catch Fleeing Suspects

Harris County PCT 4 Deputies were able to recover one stolen vehicle and prevent another auto theft while on patrol in Atascocita on Monday.

According to reports from PCT 4, on July 2, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office was on patrol and working DWI enforcement in the area when he observed a recently reported stolen vehicle in the 6500 block of Astascocita Road.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 6000 block of Kelly Mill Lane, where both occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. A perimeter was established and Constable Deputies quickly apprehended both suspects as they attempted to flee in another vehicle.

The driver was identified as Donald Wyche (19, Humble) and the passenger as Kerry Stubblefield (20, Atascocita).

Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail.

Wyche was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Arrest. His bond was set at $2,000.

Good job picking up this trash. Not only are are they stealing, but from their own neighborhood and community? Those type of people dont have any self respect.

@LuGar : Your statement is very true. I would however caution the use of the word trash when describing young men. In my opinion their still kids, but I certainly understand that their age defines them as men. I know both of these kids from the education system and can honestly say they are fsr from trash. Disrespectful, dishonest and disobedient, maybe, but not trash...

@ladybeachbum : As I mentioned to @lugar, I do take a slight offense to the term "trash" when describing these young men. I am not sensitive but very conscious. I too want to thank our lawwl enforcement officers for doing their job to keep us safe. Ive been here since 2000 and appreciate their responsiveness to our community.

@Richblackman : We all have opinions here and they are just that. If they are out stealing cars and running from the constables then they are acting like trash whether you believe it or not.

@ladybeachbum : No problem at all. My heart won't allow me to call kids / young men "Trash", but yours does. Thats perfectly fine, we just have a difference of opinion. You feel the way you do and I feel the way I do. Thats the amazing benefit of living in this free country.

@Richblackman : You have no idea who I am or where my heart is but that is okay. My heart says these adult kids are going against the law and taking what is not theirs. I think they call it stealing? After that, they decide to run from said law and you think they are good kids? Okay. Prove me wrong with them never doing something like this again or tell me their grandmother was dying and they had to have a car to get to her.............then, and only then would my heart get involved.
