PCT 4 Constable Deputies were able to find and arrest a suspect shortly after he crashed into an Atascocita residence and fled.
According to reports from PCT 4, on June 24, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 19100 block of Barry Lane in Atascocita in reference to a vehicle that crashed into a residence causing extensive damage.
Upon arriving, deputies discovered that the suspect vehicle had fled the scene.
Precinct 4 Deputies quickly located the suspect and the vehicle nearby. The vehicle had considerable damage and still had debris from the residence attached.
The suspect, identified as Bryan Gotay (21, Waller), admitted to striking the house and fleeing the scene.
"Bryan Gotay was arrested, booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Failure to Stop and Give Information. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of the County Court 11." - Constable Mark Herman
Gotay was additionally charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon the following day and held without bond. It is unclear if those charges are related to the above incident, but we'll update this once PCT 4 releases more info.
