Prosecutors have filed four felony charges against an Atascocita man in connection with the shooting of two Harris County Constable PCT 4 deputies.
Wesley Adam Smith (31, Atascocita) has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault on a public servant for the incident, according to charging documents filed by the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
The penalty range on each charge is 5 to 99 years or life.
Two officers were shot and two were threatened during the incident, which unfolded on Tuesday, April 17, at approximately 1:50 a.m., on Saratoga Woods Lane in Atascocita.

Prosecutors have asked Smith be held on $500,000 bond.
