The Humble Rotary Club has released the details of this year's Catfish, Cars & Community Festival. Daniel Contreras, the Humble Rotary Club event chair, announced that the event will be held on May 5, 2018, at the Humble Civic Center Arena, located at 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy.
Last year’s Humble Rotary Festival was successful due to the food, the family events, silent auctions and raffle for a new car. A popular part of the Festival was an Open Car Show that displayed many different types of cars from 1930 to 2014. Included in the 70 cars last year were Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, Dodge/Mopar, restored cars from the 1930’s to the 1970’s, Muscle Cars, SUV’s, and Imports. This year’s event has been expanded to include trucks and motorcycles.
Admission to the car show is FREE!
This year’s show will include 30 classes plus a Best in Show award.. Car Registration is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and show time is 11:00 AM till 3:00PM. Registration is $30 per vechicle. To register early, go to

Car entry includes one fish fry meal and ice tea. Extra meals for family and friends are only $12. Cold drinks and desserts are also for sale.
For the past 20+years, The Rotary Club of Humble has contributed more than $1,800,000 to humanitarian needs. Included in this has been more than $400,000 to local social services institutions. The community supports the fundraising efforts of the Rotary Club of Humble through support of its annual Humble Rotary Festival, Eat Fish, Change Lives event. More than 60 local firms are supporting the event this year via annual sponsorships. Approximately 1500 attended the Cat Fish Fry and Car Show event last year.. The 2018 event will provide the winner of the $100 raffle a 2018 car or truck valued at $35,000 from Robbins Chevrolet & Nissan. There will also be 10 additional raffle prizes of $250 shopping sprees. Raffle tickets are available from Humble Rotarians.
