After a 14-month criminal investigation, the
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has filed Felony charges on 13 suspects for “Engaging in Organized Crime” and “Felony Theft”. These criminal episodes involved 100’s of Tire/Wheel Thefts throughout the following counties - Harris , Grimes, Waller, Washington, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Brazos Counties - where victims' tires and wheels were stolen off their vehicles in their own driveways.
The Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has executed search warrants on multiple locations early this morning and are in the process of recovering stolen property and critical evidence related to the organized criminal activity. The Constable’s Office partnered with 11 different Law Enforcement agencies across Texas to bring this criminal activity to a stop and into our court system here in Harris County for prosecution.
There will be additional information shared soon on the suspects, recovered stolen property and possible further criminal charges.
