According to reports, on December 18, 2017, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 6100 block of Kingwood Glen Drive in Atascocita in reference to a suspicious person.

Constable Deputies quickly located a suspect, Zakry Dzvonick (18, Channelview), walking down the street carrying some property. An additional suspect, Steven Lemons (21, Atascocita), was also located driving in the neighborhood with property in his possession.

Constable Deputies located several unlocked vehicles that had been burglarized and determined the property in the suspect’s possession to be stolen from those burglarized vehicles. The vehicle owners were notified and all stolen property was returned.

In addition to the stolen property, both suspects were found to be in possession of cocaine.

“Zakry Dzvonick and Steven Lemons were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a controlled substance. Dzvonick’s received a $9000 bond for the vehicle burglaries and No Bond for the controlled substance possession. Lemon received a total bond of $12,000 on all charges. All cases are set out of County Court 3 and the 182nd Criminal District Court.” -Constable Mark Herman

Man.. I'm not liking how much my neighborhood is being mentioned here lately.

So glad these worthless thugs were caught! I'm sure they pulled on my car door handle..

@DaycareMom What happened to alarms that went off when someone tried to open your car door? I guess they have to break in first.

@ladybeachbum Yep.. I hear ya..

They stole the tailgate off my boyfriend's truck while it was parked in my driveway and my neighbors cameras have caught people checking car doors a couple times now. I'm starting to not feel safe..

@DaycareMom That doesn't make me feel too good because I think we are pretty close. We haven't had but one car broken into on my street in more years than I can remember but it is coming, I fear.

@DaycareMom Was it a locking tailgate? I have a cover and then the tailgate locks. I'd be ticked if they took it.

@ladybeachbum It was.. and he has a cover too.. but he had went to Lowe's and had unlocked it to put whatever it was he had bought and forgot to lock it back. And it was a Ford Platinum tailgate so they hit the jackpot tailgate with him!

Man, that sucks. Don’t get how these kids get themselves involved in these bad activities. Steven is a local kid, played ball with one of mine as a child.

@gigem09 Exactly! Drugs turn decent people into something unrecognizable 😢 I pray they get the help they need before it's too late! This happens all over our area, so lock up your possessions & please pray for the addicts & those who love them
