PCT 4 Deputies arrested a man for Evading Arrest on Wednesday after a brief chase in Atascocita.According to reports from PCT 4, on Wednesday, December 7, 2017, a patrol Deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office was advised by a citizen of a suspect breaking into a vehicle. The Deputy Constable quickly located the suspect in a vehicle in the 18200 block of Eagle Springs Parkway and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver failed to stop and led deputies on a chase. Deputies eventually had to utilize spike strips to immobilize the vehicle and end the pursuit. After detaining the suspect, Deputies located illegal narcotics inside the vehicle, as well as some property that was believed to have been stolen.The investigation to identify the property owners and the filing of additional criminal charges will continue.
