UPDATE: Suspect In Custody
The Harris County Sherriff’s Office Criminal Warrants Division has found and arrested Edwin Jermaine Stewart.
“Thanks to tips from the public and Crime Stoppers, Stewart was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail,” said Chief Investigator Dean Hensley. “Crime Stoppers received multiple tips on Stewart’s location.”

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office is looking for a Crosby man who set fire to a kennel with a dog still inside.
According to reports, on Nov. 16, the Crosby Fire Department requested investigators with the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office assist with a fire in the 12600 block of Crosby Lynchburg Rd. that severely injured a dog.
“Investigators determined Edwin Jermaine Stewart (42, Crosby) started a dog kennel on fire with an ignitable liquid while the dog was inside,” said Chief Investigator Dean Hensley. "The canine sustained generalized scarring, lacerations and ulcerations to 60 percent of its body. On Nov. 30, Stewart was charged with cruelty to a non-livestock animal.”
Stewart has an open, no-bond warrant for his arrest. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office is asking for tips on Edwin Jermain Stewart’s whereabouts.
