An Atascocita man has been arrested for crashing his vehicle into some teens who rang the doorbell at his house and drove away.

On August 11, 2017, a deputy with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 18000 block of Timber Forest Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

Constable Investigators learned that the defendant, Said Herrera, received a telephone call from his wife informing him that unknown persons rang their doorbell twice and fled the location in a black vehicle.

While driving to his house to check on his wife, Said Herrera located the vehicle and deliberately crashed his van into it and assaulted the teen occupants. Constable Deputies contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office at which time charges for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon were accepted for Herrera for crashing his vehicle into the teens.

“Said Herrera was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond is set at $30,000.00 out of the 338th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman

@tflea You hope he gets probation? If that statement is not a mistake, why do you feel that is adequate punishment?

He lost it over something so childish! He needs a suitable punishment for his actions. Maybe even a mental evaluation!

He purposely wrecked his vehicle into another vehicle with intention to do harm! Then attacked the occupants! As others have questioned....How did he know for a fact these were the kids that "rang" his doorbell!!!

The parents of these kids will have a field day in court on this guy for beating up their children! No matter if they rang a doorbell or not! He stepped way over a line that should not have been crossed!

@SteelerNation
I rather enjoy reading the feeble attempts to stir the pot of certain and select someones around here. It's my daily giggle so I'm not about to use the ignore feature and miss any of the action!

@SteelerNation I am...but I'm not one prone to ignore such things.My curiosity as to why such a statement was made won't allow me to.
