Wow! With the individual insurance market dying thanks to Obamacare, this inexpensive basic care will be such a blessing to families like mine.

Considering all the rip off ER's we have, even with insurance this should be a blessing. My dh went to one of the ER's for something small and they told him they took his insurance, well, they did but even after huge payments from them, he still owes $3k. He has to be dying before he ever goes there again.

This is great for those uninsured, but they do not accept health insurance. What about a facility that offers all these services in one place at affordable prices to those who are insured in the area?

Per their website, it looks like you can use your insurance in a reimbursement capacity:

"In order to keep costs affordable we do not accept insurance. However we can provide necessary paper work for insurance reimbursement."

I wonder how they're able to survive with only $50 per patient coming in. Either way, sounds like a great addition to the community! 👍

We are in the process of credentialing with insurance companies. However, we have the forms to submit to your insurance toward your deductible or health spending account.

I recently used one of the urgent cares recently, now I plan on doing a survey of these in the area asking capabilities and insurance accepted.

I think a nurse practitioner such as the new place at $50.00 /visit will make a very good living.

Insurance drives up the cost because they have to employ people to fight for their money. You can file it yourself, they just won't.

95 percent of the time I already know what is wrong. It sucks to spend $200 to confirm strep. I don't need a doctor to do a strep culture. For small stuff a NP is more than qualified.
