New Texas Road House
Open now. Fall Creek, in front of Showbiz movies. Everything was good and cooked right. Definitely recommend.

There's nothing Texas about Texas Roadhouse. It started at a mall in Indiana.

But as long as you don't mind eating where it's too loud to talk and tables three inches apart from each other, it's not bad.

Unfortunately, Saltgrass is like that too....I miss Steak and Ale.

@RedV : Their Mashed Potatoes and rolls are the bomb. Free peanuts you got me LOL! Good enough when I don't feel like cooking and the $10 entrees are decent.

I would rather go to Kingwood....

@carol888 : I'm sick of driving to Kingwood for everything. If you're worried about the crime like you've said about Wilson and the beltway Carol, that huge sex trafficking bust was in that parking lot, as well as the hotel.

@chasinghosts : I can't resist them either! In fact, I wish I had some of the hot buttery goodness right now!

I do not feel comfortable in that area. It does have some pockets of beautiful houses/neighborhoods but a lot of bad areas. To each their own and I know Atascocita and Kingwood have bad areas also. I go to The Woodlands more for many things and now that my daughter works in TW I go even more.

@chasinghosts : Carol rarely has anything positive to say about the Beltway area.

You're not going to escape crime as it is everywhere. Yes some areas might be considered safer than others but you should always be vigilant no matter where you are. And oh by the way The Woodlands definitely has its share.
