I love Christmas decorations...that's why I wait until December. There's nothing special about something you have up for two months.

We've never done lights, too expensive. Plus you have to pay to take them down too!

@bbk : Thanks for your concern, I'm on a ladder all the time doing something. As long as I feel good I'm ok, I only have an 8 footer and a very small homefront. I just do the front, the bushes and the lower branches of my Live Oak. Then it will be on to the tree going up and a ton of indoor decorations. Fun fun fun and then it will all come down in March. What the guys don't understand is we have to free up our time for the cooking and baking that brings them the joy. This is my favorite part though.

@brightlights : I decorated my porch for Halloween and now I am waiting for it to be over and with just a few pick ups and redo's, I'm done! Then Christmas will be hard to do!

@chasinghosts : He was in good shape & he also was on a 8 ft ladder . Accidents sometimes just happen . They never decorated their 2nd story . Our entire street almost is older folks . . Just be extra cautious .
