I've put on a little, mostly due to my increase in alcohol consumption and the gym being closed for so long.

Have lost 22 lbs. Intermittent fasting is amazing and easy.

I've gained some and am trying to lose it. The older you get, the harder this is. I lose five and then gain five and then lose five and then gain five. I'd really like to lose 10....and keep it off! I have finally resigned myself to the fact that I'll never be the same size I was in my 30s and 40s.

@bbk : I have actually lost weight. I get out and walk daily. And I only eat when I'm hungry. At the office I had to eat before I leave for work (even though I'm not hungry at 6 AM). Then I still get hungry around 9 AM and eat a snack. Then I eat my lunch. Then I get an afternoon slump at the office at 3 so I eat again. Then dinner. At home I don't eat until I'm hungry. Sometimes I'm not eating breakfast until 1030. Which means I eat lunch around 230 and then dinner. So I'm consuming way less calories and also walking more.

@bbk : I love fries. I'll take fries over exercise any day.

@cheryltom : How long do you fast for? I try to fast for 12 to 14 hours overnight every night. Do you go longer?

@Luckysis : Ain't that the truth! Definitely the older you are the harder it is to lose weight.

For me, it's not a change in diet or alcohol....it's that I am not walking as much as when I was working. Need to start back up. Hopefully cooler weather will help.

I don't think I've gained any weight. On an unrelated note, I think we need a new dryer. This one seems to be shrinking my clothes the last few months.

@bbk : With all due fairness, I was not working outside of the house before this Covid 19 virus. My husband retired early in 2015 so ... lol ... we have gotten used to dealing with each other stepping on each other's feet in the kitchen, etc. and have relearned how to share and how to be together (and how to take a break from each other ... hahaha). Additionally, we do not have any school aged children and don't have to figure out education, social lives, etc. for our children. Blessings and my greatest empathy to all of you parents who have to grapple with this. Children are a joy, but 2020 has been a stinker! You want the best for your children, but 2020 has not been kind to you or your children. I extend my kindest thoughts and prayers for all of you and your children too. We all want to see them grow up with what they need to be happy and productive.

Maybe, just maybe.....I didn't gain weight. Maybe my clothes shrank? It's possible if it's all cotton! LOL.
