@LeverageShowFan : I met him unexpectedly a few months after my husband passed. We didn't start dating right away but he undoubtedly was the rock I needed at that point in my life as a friend. We've had our ups and downs but that's normal in most healthy relationships.. I think anyways!!

@nikkiole : Gustavo and I have a year and a half break-up at least once every couple months!!

@DaycareMom : I'm so terribly sorry. Please spread that word and send out help for others. Sending my prayers for you and Gustavo to heal from this.

We've been getting bad news since June. Lost a close long time friend to heart attack, another very good friend got diagnosed with a terminal cancer. My uncle died from Covid on July 5. I'm afraid to answer phone calls.

@DaycareMom : Condolences in this time of loss for your family. I view you and Gustavo as 1 and hope you find comfort in each other during this time of grief.

@DaycareMom : Awww ..... you have been through so much. I have no doubt that you can stand on your very own, but everybody needs someone who is an anchor in the storm. It sounds like you and Gustavo are that for each other. And just remember (lol ... this from an old lady - not necessarily wise, but one with a lot of miles of her) there are ups and downs in every relationship. My husband and I get along most of the time. But when we fight, which is not really often, sparks fly!!! Lol .... I think he is sort scared of my temper. He told me that when I am really ticked off that he equates me to a wife that someone he heard about had who got good & mad and sewed her husband up in the bed sheets once he went to sleep in the bed, beat him with a broom, and left in the car (with the car prepacked ... hahaha) before he even had time to escape from those sheets. (She must had been a very good seamtress ... big grin). But I told my husband I would not do something like that (oh, no ... not me). (Disclaimer: This story is NOT a suggestion to anybody who reads this post. I cannot take responsibility for anybody's actions other than my own)!

so sorry for your loss. i am afraid our area is now in the midst of having more people with covid, my son was telling us that he has heard of about 10 people that he knows who has the covid or has symptoms of it. we did get to take a mini vacation to corpus in june but since then we are doing the isolation treatment and using mask. i only go to dr or therapy now, stay safe and i know people have to work but this will be around for a long time. the pandemic of 1919 lasted 15 months and this one may last that long also

@DaycareMom : I am so sorry to hear this. I myself am still unsure about all this. I am following all of the safety measures but friends that have had it have said it was like the flu. Let's all keep praying for this to end.

Sorry to hear this. I think at this point, most people at least know someone that has lost someone close. It's kind of sad and awakening. A lot different that numbers on a scroll bar - when it is connected to a name and a person you know.my condolences.....
