Trees Along FM1960
Does anyone know why they are cutting down the trees along 1960 on the south side of the ditch, especially from Kings Park Way heading east toward West Lake Houston Plwy? It looks so empty now.

@hutch5801 : He was trying to say that the OP was asking about the trees on 1960 starting at Kings Park Way (the street just west of Walmart) heading east. Not the Kings River subdivision.

they are asking about the trees being cut on 1960 between Kings parkway and West lake Houston parkway.

It makes it harder for my old eyes to see the entrances to the parking lots on that side of 1960. I was dependent on the spaces between the trees....Going to miss those amazing landmarks...

When the sidewalks are built, I hope they add trees to replace all the ones being cut down. Is there somewhere for us to email our suggestions to?

They are cutting some around the old Taco Cabana. 😢 I thought they were just doing the south side?

@Vodkatini : They are going to build an overpass at Atascocita Rd. They will need the room for the access roads and u turns. When Taco Cabana closed, I posted it was because of the road work, but everyone said it was because they sucked.

@TheBoz : I love Taco Cabana but some reason, ours here in Atascocita was awful - some of the worst service I have ever seen. I hear they are bringing in Taco Bueno around the Houston area. Used to love that place when I lived in DFW - MUCH better than Taco Bell
