best raw beef in Atascocita?

HEB? Kroger. Any local butcher.

Im looking for a step up from Walmart ground beef for burgers and ribeye (or equivalent ) steaks.

dont mind paying for quality but there is a limit.

Anyone tried Omaha steaks or similar, are they better?

@cousindan : that's a step below Walmart.

Honestly I love the grass fed ground beef from HEB. Below the meat counter in 1lb cubes. The prime steaks in the counter are excellent.

@cousindan :

Don't do Omaha. For the best beef products in the neighborhood, stick with HEB. They have a good supply of prime beef on hand and if you don't see it just ask the meat cutters. They might have it in the freezers like beef ribs which they don't display. If not, you can place an order and they'll accommodate you.

Their branded market trimmed brisket is high grade choice and my go to buy now.

@sniper12 : Point taken. It makes good sausage. Heavy on the pork spices optional.

What about that place with the spanish name near 1960 and Timber forest?
I never went in but it looks like a meat market.

Can't beat Taste of Texas (I know, not Atascocita, but worth the drive to pick out your steaks and they also ship), but you'll def pay for it! Special occasion for sure.

Omaha Steaks are garbage.

Otherwise, HEB (on a good day lately).
