@redneckroy : Thank you. I actually am clueless other than knowing I got 8 stents, but will find out next Monday. I think he did do a small repair, but not sure.

@chasinghosts : Goodness you have really been through a rough time. My prayers are with you and I know you will be back at 100 in no time. As far as the eating I go through that from time to time were I just can't eat or can only eat very little. What I normally do is eat ice cream however if it is an upset tummy then that probably wouldn't be good.

@Fiona : Thank you. I'm slowing figuring it all out. Things I normally love, don't smell right and are setting me off. I will gradually get there I hope.

I am glad you are on the mend. Regarding food, my dad has gone through this many times with cancer treatments and is currently in the same boat as you. He said to find what stays down and eat small amounts of that as often as you can, even if you can't taste it and it's just a bite or two, he said you just have to make yourself eat it. He also said don't think of it as food, think of it as fuel for your body...that can help with the nausea. Praying for your return to strength soon.

@chasinghosts : Have you tried Ensure Nutritional shake with 13 grams of high quality protein Chocolate Shake . These are so much better today then when they came out years ago . We both like them really cold .

@bbk : Have to try them again. Yogurt is working.

@chasinghosts : I use to put vanilla yogurt in the blender with a small banana & some frozen strawberries & we ate it as a desert & loved it . Just a thought .

@chasinghosts : That's great! You can also make soup out of it, if you're wanting something warm to eat. Add a little cornstarch or flour to thicken it.
