feel good true story
In 1983 a NYFD fireman Eugene Pugilese entered the smoke filled 6th floor apartment saving the life of a mother and 4 year old daughter. He gave mouth to mouth to the unconscious 4 year old reviving her.

In 2020 40 year old ER nurse, Deirdre Taylor was leaving her husband and two children volunteering to assist in New York front lines. She's just kind of person. On her 17th birthday, she joined the Army and became a helicopter pilot with the National Guard before leaving to start her family.
While in New York, she told her story to a fireman and - yes, you probably guessed it. The fireman was determined to find one of his own. 74 year old retired Eugene and Deidre were reunited. Both found they were NY Yankee fans and have plans to attend the first game allowing fans.
Thought this would be a nice break from all the misery on the forum today. True story folks.
