lynnsgirl : I know this might trigger some here. But if I were you I'd basically disregard anything 45 and the vice-president is saying on this issue. I'd go with state and local officials to include Hidalgo.

Since we are technically the City of Houston... shouldn't the order of authority be... The Texas Governor The Houston City Mayor and finally, whatever is coming out of Harris County?

@eighteen : He is not the Mayor of Harris County. Counties don't have Mayors. Our Mayor is in Humble, but I don't think he has any jurisdiction in the unincorporated areas .

@chasinghosts : I realize that. My question pertains to COH being within Harris County, and IF the Houston Mayor and County Judge weren't on the same page, but NVM.

Sorry but the statement confuses me as there are many Mayors not just Houston's that are in Harris County. But yes I think they are pretty much on the same page.
