@+1 : Right? My first thought was why would another church buy this huge building that flooded so badly, then I was told they just changed the name

Still a great church, this happened March 1, sign on Townsen went up end of February.

When we first moved to Humble and were looking for a church, we went here. It was dripping in politics and an argument even broke out before the cermon. We were more than embarrassed to bear witness to this fiasco and never went back. There were only a few people there at that time and only seniors. Can definitely see them playing to the younger crowd. This was 27 years ago but again, it was enough to turn us off and never go back.

It is still the same people and staff. My youngest before the Covid shutdown attended the mothers day out program and we got to meet the staff and members.

Thank You all I saw the new name and was wondering. I too when there when I was looking for a new home. Never went back.

@Ladyfairlane : So different now. It has gone through many changes over the 30 years that I have had friends there. Try again to see the differences and all.
