They destroy bees to feed their larvae , this is no joke that they entered the US. Can kill humans - in Japan about 50 per year. But without bees , our food source is seriously diminished.

@tflea : Seems they've been around for awhile. Any thoughts on how they've entered America?

@eighteen : Those things are huge! I hope they can contain them. I don't even like red wasps. But if I saw a hornet that big coming for me I'd probably have a heart attack!

@Weathergirl5 : A wasp flew into my garage earlier and I stopped dead in my tracks 😳 until I saw that it was only your everyday wasp 😂

Just watched an Animal Planet video of a guy allowing himself to get stung by the hornet. His arm arm swole up pretty good, but he did not die.

It should also be noted that he goes around letting different insects sting him.
