Do not forget to take your car out some...

The good news is that with people not driving as much due to stay-at-home orders, they are spending way less money on gas, and when they do have to go to the pump, prices have plummeted to lows not seen in years.

But there is a bad side to cars sitting in the garage or driveways all the time: Damage can actually be done to your vehicle even when it is not being driven

Mine been sitting for 4 weeks. I have started it up a couple of times. Guess it needs to make a couple of trips around the block. The wife's vehicle has gone 15 miles the last two weeks till today. Had to take kitty to the vet. Curb side vet visits are a trip.

I guess that's a good PSA, news is trying to find something else to report on except the CV, but they are over doing it a tad, or quite a bit there. I leave my classic cars for mths on end not being started, doesn't hurt them. Ask the reporter there how long it's going to take for rust to start eating away the cast steel brake rotors you have there Emoticon. As long as your car isn't sitting in a salt water puddle, I think your brakes will make it. As soon as you do drive it, that surface rust comes off your first red light Emoticon,
A starting every once in a while isn't going to hurt them I guess, but if your battery isn't gone to begin with, I think everybody is going to be OK on their cars through this.

@eighteen : My neighbor has 8-9 cars. I park in front of my house so I don't have to see cars not to mention he puts ruts my yard or parks a foot away from the curb causing traffic issues. 😡

So ready to move ..........
