Here comes the rain again......are you singing it? I am! Showers with heavy rain are moving into the Austin area this afternoon. A lot of these will fizzle as they approach Houston but western and northern counties could see 1-2" downpours, quarter-sized hail and strong wind gusts of 58mph+.The timing looks to be from 6pm to 10pm and then skies quiet down.More rain is expected Saturday and Sunday but the severe weather threat will have ended.I haven't seen @Weathergirl5 in a while and miss her.
