After this, the next time the people in the service industry demand a livable wage, no one needs to say anything. It's because of them that we are experiencing SOME sense of normalcy. They are heroes.

@Vodkatini : That is a great idea! My dil works for HEB curbside and was told she is not to take tips which sucks.

@nikkiole : I think anybody that works a 40 hour job should be paid enough to rent an apartment. I am all for raising the minimum wage.

I just put a thank you note card on my front door for my H-E-B delivery person.
I just said he/she is very much appreciated. 💕

On the bright side, the grocery industry is hiring many seasonal positions. If you are in the hospitality or retail industry this is your chance to make a career change.
