I'm not all that bad..

Hey friends.. just wanted to let everyone know that I will be up in the Huntsville area the next couple days..

If there is anything dire anyone needs that you can't find locally, let me know and I will pick it up and bring it back when I come home Sunday night.. the demand where I will be is not as high as it is here and I am willing to help my neighbors out if need be.

That place was a dump in the 70's but oh! The beer sure was cold on Thursday nights. 🥴

My mom used to live there, 25 yrs ago, taught school there. I'd tell my friends I'm going to Huntsville for the w/e to see my mom, they'd ask me what she's in there for (the pen)? Ha ha!

@DaycareMom : I went to Sam from 99-03. We used to hang out at Quarters. Get a $3 band and 25 cent drinks all night. I was in for a shock when I came back to Houston and bought a drink. 😂. We didn't go to the Fox as much but we still went plenty. What was the name of the one on the other main road?

@MrsT : Quarters wasn't there when I went there.

All I remember from when I was there was the fox and 17th st.

There is a bar called Humphrey's on the main drag now.. new to me. Small little bar.. loud AF.. can't hear what the person your attempting to talk to is saying. Any of those ring a bell?
