Cancer!!! Are you ready for this? Last week, I went to obgyn who informs me I might have cancer in my uterus.

He sent me for 5 vials of blood, took an ultra sound of my uterus among OTHER THINGS!!!

So, next week I go to get a catheter shoved up my ... to take a biopsy inside my uterus!!!

Well folks... 2019 has been a MFER!

I can't make this up! Ughh

@lynnsgirl : I'd tell you not to stress before you know but that's unrealistic. My sister found out she had breast cancer just over 2 years ago, had a mastectomy and is in remission. I know how scary it was for her. Sending good vibes your way and hoping everything comes out ok. ❤️

Good juju is being sent out into the universe for you. I went through something very similar. I think the paps they use now are too sensitive and give too many false positives. I got to the colposcopy/biopsy and the results were good...nothing at all wrong....nothing, even though the ultrasound showed a problem. I know your stress and worries and wish I had something to say that would give you some comfort. Emoticon

@lynnsgirl : Don't stress..I know easier said than done. But, 23 years ago there was this spot on my boob and of course I had to take more xrays, bs and stuff but they couldn't get me in for 6 months. When that time came I could have been half dead but the start trying to locate the spot and do it over and over until I said "last time, get it right". Long story, all was clear and no cancer but I was supposed to go back every 6 months. I walked away ticked they made me go through all that when it probably didn't show up on the new ones. So 23 years and nothing. This will be nothing. Just think it. 2019 has been a year to remember but we will get through it. If you need anything, really hold your hand while you go through it, just say so. My son was 6. I was scared to death.

@lynnsgirl I'm so sorry you have been given one more thing to deal with. Try not to worry about the worst-case scenario...wait until you have all the information and know what is really going on. Over the past 25 years I've had bad paps, cervical biopsies, procedures to remove bad cells, and an endometrial biopsy. So far, all is well. ADC will be lifting you up and asking God to cover you and bless you with good health, strength, peace, and happiness. You deserve it. Emoticon

Girl stop talking and start taking care of yourself and get away from all this negativity and start taking measures to heal yourself. Concentrate on yourself and family and have them on notice for moral support. If you need anything I am just down the street.

I am going to do the typical man thing probably and say this. Pump the brakes. Takes some deep breaths. I do not know much about you but from what I do know is you are one hell of a woman. Take a few hours, a day, weekend or even a week if you can and get the hell away from here. Go to the wine country if you can and just do a spa or something and pamper yourself. Hell with everything that you have been going through that is the least that you could do for YOU! Remember this is about YOU now. I will message you my number if you ever wanna talk or have a drink with me and the wife.

Hang in there! I had the same scenario last year and everything was fine. The ultrasound was uncomfortable but not too bad. Prayers for great news.

Meant to say the biopsy wasn't too bad!

@lynnsgirl : I had mine done in office as well. It was a quick sharp pain that went away immediately. The insertion was just pressure but the biopsy was where the discomfort was. I opted not to have any numbing "down there" lol and was so glad afterwards that I did.
