Look don't get offended by this don't even judge me by punctuation because I'm verbally speaking in my phone you know when you pray you pray about things that mean a lot to you and you're not supposed to ever compare your prayers or your sins because one man's need is another man's luxury our one man's success is another's failure

I personally have come to the fork in the road I have spent years building my empire my family my luxury only now I sit back and watch it all be destroyed

Lately I often feel like am I living the life that God intended for me or is my current life a reflection of the decisions I've made

I've never known the loneliness one feels by the betrayal of another honestly I've never experienced it and now I have you wake up daily and you say to yourself today will be the day today I will be powerful and at the end of the day you're just glad you made it through the day

I also now realize why so many marriages fail because people don't really take the time to get to know them selves I for one refuse to be that statistic I am independent I work I own and I sacrifice

When the day comes and I meet someone it will never be because I need them it will only be because I want them and that will enhance the beauty of the need the need will not be economical the need will not be taken for granted the need will be because my soul is hungry

Prayers! Life is tough and you have this! When you really walk with God you end up with more tribulations (cause the devil is **** and does more to you!)

Why did you post this?
It appears to be private & personal thoughts that ought to be written in a journal. I can understand if you were requesting prayer for yourself, but details seem heavy for a public forum. Not everyone here knows you. Just suggesting a bit of advice for the future.

Now days there is so much social media and people paint their picture of perfection

There are others here that need to know they are not alone

Venting and sharing is healing

@ChloeW : Because sometimes you just need a Amen. She may not be asking for prayers but many will still pray. Not all testimonies speak directly to you but it could be the encouragement that one person on here needs to hear.

There are a lot of us that have been down your road... Maybe slightly different circumstances, but the same result. You will make it though to the other side because, even though I don't know you personally, I do know that you are one kick-a** , strong lady!! "Never put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket..."

It is okay to speak your mind and take charge as this is your future. Remember my final advice that you are now in a position to reinvent yourself and start a new beginning and let the other person go since they failed you. Let the past be the past and also remind yourself that the other person no longer has control of your future destiny. I do not know if you recall me telling you when my ex called me for help after her partner whom she left me for was sent to prison and I told her she made a choice and now has to live with the consequences of her choice. then I hanged up.

I was told a long time again the end of a relationship has the same grieving period just like the loss of a loved one.
It takes time to develop your new normal.
And it might take some work to make sure it is a HEALTHY new normal.

I can't remember who told me this, probably my grandmother, but it goes like "know yourself and love yourself". Take your time to do the things you enjoy and stop doing things to please other people.

I'm not in your shoes and I have no idea how things went down, but is it worth your time and energy to dwell in the past? it is worth spending a second about your ex and what happened or why it happened or how things happen or when? why worry or be unhappy about the things, events and people that you can't control? the only person you can fully control is you... work on how you react to these things, events or people and I guarantee you will live a much happier life.

@lynnsgirl : Prayers hun. If you need to talk just talk. Don't keep it inside. If this is a place for you to vent, go right ahead. If someone doesn't agree or want to read it they don't have to. Most of us are here for you and will be supportive. Sometimes you just need a ear to listen. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will get better. I have a couple of friends going through the same thing and it's a day to day process. Youve got this. Let us know if we all need to get our rolls of quarters ready
