Dinner!
What are you making? I got some rib eyes at HEB and going to make some buttermilk mashed potatoes with chives and salad with fresh pears, blue cheese, avocados (not the recalled type), and candied walnuts. What is on your menu?

Carolina BBQ pulled chicken sammies on brioche buns with homemade slaw and pickled red onions on top, with my warm potato salad and grilled (indoor) stuffed jalapenos on the side. The slow cooker is handling the pulled chicken right now (well, I'll pull it later 😂).

@brightlights : The salad is super easy to make. Sometimes if pears are not in season but peaches are I substitute fresh peaches. You can also use feta cheese instead of blue cheese if you're not a fan of blue cheese.

@Weathergirl5 : Pears and bleu cheese together are the bomb!!

My dad throws pears on the grill (a little balsamic vinegar drizzled on, grilled until charred) and stuffs the little holes with a mixture of bleu cheese, mascarpone cheese and a little honey, crushed walnuts on top. Sounds weird, but they are delish!
