I watched it a few weeks ago. I liked having both perspectives, especially the father's. I don't feel like you see that enough. It's based on both of their books.

Thanks to yall's post i was able to use a cobra kai inspired phrase .. a kid came into work selling stuff in his gi, so i hollered to him 'sweep the leg.' he laughed, but i think it was a fake laugh. he's too young to know who mr miyagi is.

All I really want to see it now. Ive been wanting to but I hasd no ides they both wrote books from their perspectives. Thats awesome. Looks really good.

The trailer caught my attention and I am anxious to see it. While in the PaRC, I saw the brutal struggles between the young addicts, the drugs and their parents. Some of the drugs they were hooked on caused a craving so intense, they will be chasing the "dragon" forever. Ages 21-75!! The severe seizures some drug withdrawals caused some was enough to scare the s**t out of me!!!!My three week detox/rehab for ALCOHOL was eye opening and as a Mom it scared the hell out of me. One 21 yr. old girl was in rehab for second time (first rehab at PaRC) for opioids and heroin. She and her Dad were very close and he was hell bent to get her clean for good. Her Dad had a heart attack the day after she was released, but she was able to promise him she...........Two weeks later, the Narcan didn't save her.
