@chasinghosts : I've been worried about him having enough air and not having food or water, he's so little and won't be able to take much. Then today it hit me that he has been exposed to hypothermic conditions for 4 days now....I don't think he can survive that. The poor parents. My heart is truly broken for them.

@Sammee : I was wondering about that, but then the temp is different there , depending on the time of year for them. All we really can do is pray very hard that he will be saved like baby Jessica was.

Unfortunately, the high temp for them tomorrow is 55°. That far underground it will be colder, but I don't know how much. I've been in caves that are nowhere near that deep. North Carolina caves are in the 50s year-round, Natural Bridge Caverns in Texas is in the 70s year-round. I pray the ground near this little one is warm.

Oh boy, the odds are against him. It's been what, 4 days? 🙏

Spain is 7 hours ahead of us, so it's 8:00am there. That equipment is moving fast to dig and then remove the dirt. They are flying with whatever those digger machines are. Prayers that when I wake up tomorrow there will be joyful news of a rescue.

@lynnsgirl : Nope. It's not even mentioned on our news... unbelievable. Online it just says they're still digging tunnels.

@Sammee : So sad. It will take a miracle for him to be alive.

@ladybeachbum : I just read an update that they had to stop digging one tunnel because they hit hard rock. Now they're digging two more, but it will still take several more days to reach his level.

This really makes me mad, "The man allegedly responsible for digging the well, Antonio Sanchez, told Spanish media he had covered the opening with stones and dirt."Stones and dirt for a 360-foot deep hole, really? There should be requirements for 2 or 3 feet of concrete to plug something that deep.

A recent update from about an hour ago said that they hope to reach him in about 35 hours.
