Join the Community Learning Center on Wednesday, November 15, for a presentation by Joni Adams, Licensed Professional Counselor, as she discusses how to support children and adolescents who have been involved in a traumatic event (ex: natural disasters, abuse, etc.). The seminar will be held at The Community Learning Center, located at 18901 Timber Forest Drive in Humble. This is a free event! Wednesday, November 15:Free dinner from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
Discussion is 6 to 7 p.m. (childcare is provided at no cost during discussion time) The Community Learning Center hosts an information meeting with a community partner each month. "We are proud to be working with community partners in order to provide our parents and students special events that will showcase services available throughout our community," said Tammy Alexander, Community Learning Center Principal. "We know the importance of developing and maintaining positive relationships with all of our stakeholders and these upcoming events will be another avenue of helping all of our students and their families.
