I already knew that they were the best band.... Here is a clip of the cross over...it requires the Cadets to step in between the feet of each other. As the columns turn and cross over each other and band members place their feet on almost the same spot on the ground at the same time. Computers used to have a hard time with this (and maybe still do) because it required band members to occupy the same space at the same time in the program.
Can watch that band al day long. Well deserved recognition. My HS band did military style performances which I always liked. Our band director moved on and became the Asst. band Dir. at A&M My college band did the more flashy routines which is probably why I dropped out.
@Smokeybear ...High School Military Marching bands are far and few... Atascocita, Kingwood and a few in East Texas. I am guessing you are from around these parts. I always recommend any one coming from AHS Band to go try out for the Aggie Band. It will be a life changing experience!
