Did anyone have any funny Thanksgiving mishaps?! We were headed to my parents house for festivities and we were taking two vehicles between all the food and kids so I had spent prob 20 min situating the hot green bean casserole, hot candied yams, 4 hot pies and bottles of wine in the back of my car precariously nesseled with beach towels and pot holders so nothing would spill or fall over and make a mess. All the kids are in the truck watching me go back and forth. I had just walked back in the house leaving my car doors & front door open to grab my purse - I had told Greg to make sure Mia my German Shephard was secured in the house- so as I'm walking thru the house I see Mia go flying by and as I'm walking back out the door I see Greg walking back in saying you're not going to believe this & covered in Yams.... Mia thought she was going for a ride! She flew out the door and jumped in my car directly into all my food. Needless to say it took me a minute to breathe.... And to clean brown sugar and marshmellow- yam juice. So glad I wasn't bringing the rest of the dinner! Atleast the wine was still good! All the dogs got sweet potato and some bean casserole w their dinner!!
