I am not sure what the big deal is. Yes he's been in rehab before but so what. Has this affected his throwing arm? Did he miss a game? Over sleep and miss the plane? Get a DUI like so many other football players?
I am not a Manziel fan by any means but I think the media needs to leave him alone. I'm willing to guess that he was not the only football player out clubbing it or drinking or doing something worse.

No He's not the only one out partying it up, but he keeps showing up on social media and that seems to upset the NFL. I don't care if he is right or wrong, he needs to learn that his actions upset his governing body and maybe this needs to change. There are A list players that get away with this kind of behavior, and no I don't agree with this, but in any job you must learn what pleases management until such time your worth overcomes the embarrassment He has a way to go. Part of the issue was , when questioned by the team he lied and said it was from last year, and tried to get others to lie for him.

@Lace An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do.Not to pile on - but I do feel sorry for the true Aggie faithful. JM is/was a hero to so many - but as his off-field antics continue to prove he isn't worthy of being anyone's role model or hero - Holding him up as an Aggie Hero - seems to be a bit of a hypocrisy when trying to hold the standard of the ATM Honor code. He will grow up one of these days and realize the opportunities that have past him by. That NFL opportunity is slipping away fast.

He's an addict. He will have to hit rock bottom and then want to help himself. Unfortunately, until then.....he's on self-destruct-mode.
