Humble Rodeo and BBQ Volunteers Needed

FEBRUARY 5TH & 6TH 2016

I would like to thank Joe (ADC) for the privilege of allowing this post on ADC. Please respect the fact he has allowed this as long as it does not turn into a business proposition.

The Humble Rodeo and BBQ 2016 benefiting the Humble Education Foundation will take place starting the weekend of February 5th and 6th 2016. This event has grown to epic proportions and we need volunteers to maintain and help us grow. Last year we raised approximately $280,000 for the kids of HISD. Read www.humblerodeo.com . This year we are reaching for $300k.

@Astrokatz Is there a place for Maybe? I'd love to do it but it's hard for me to plan on tomorrow much less months away. What are some of the things you will need done? Does this include bacon wrapped food that looks delish for the workers?

@Fairlane67 You bet...Fairlane's pit last year offered Smoked standing Rib Eye bone in , Wagu not the cheap brisket, Smoked dove , Smoked alligator and his award winning "guess the road kill" wrapped in bacon same this year?

I would be interested in volunteering as well. Keep us posted on any volunteer type meeting. I need to remember to pull the site up at home. The office has it blocked

I helped out at the BBQ cook off last year. It was a lot of fun, the teams are real nice and love to share their food. Part of my motivation was that it supports the Humble ISD Foundation. Definitely going back this year.
