That's terrible. Sorry this happened to you. We will keep an eye out for the vehicles. Maybe other areas have seen them hanging around their neighborhoods.

That is so weird . Certainly they had to have taken something besides that .I just can't understand why they would take your dogs ashes .

Were they in a fancy box? Maybe thought they were grabbing something fancy.

They thought it was jewelry. They got a lot of jewelry. They came back last night. I chased them out of the neighborhood. They were coming back for the TVs and big things. They got quite a bit of jewelry unfortunately and like I said before my dogs ashes. They must have been casing the house from my understanding for about a week. We were at our other house in Colorado. The scary part is we had the alarm activated and they beat it as well as the motion detectors.

they also found lots of narcotics from past surgeries and left all of it. I am so confused. LOL

So the police responded and they were gone?

The alarm never went off. They broke a window and crawled through the hole. This didn't break the leads in the window. Then they creped around the house and were able to locate the only motion detector. They completely avoided this part of the house. It was completely undisturbed and again, didn't activate the alarm. Fortunately all of our doors are dead bolted. So if you don't have a key you cant open a door from the outside or inside. I believe this spoiled their plans of grabbing big things like TVs. This is also why they probably came back the next night to only find me, which I assume spoiled their plans of finishing the job.

We are doing our best working with neighbors who have cameras, talking to people in the community, police involvement etc. We also beefed up our home security system today. My house is Ft Knox now.
