Question for the ladies....

What's the most you have ever paid for a haircut at a salon?

Just a haircut? Or a haircut and style?

Most I've paid for just a haircut and style is like 40 bucks. $130 for color cut and style. But I've got long hair and for some reason they charge more for long hair.

I do think that @macdaddy was referring to the whole color, cut and style. my DW spends about $125 per visit. Of course I will be the first one to say that it is WAY worth the money for where she goes. They treat her like a queen, wine, etc. She was paying about the same at the place before with average at best service.

@mw3538 Dang I've paid that much before and didn't get wine!

Where I go now I pay about 90 for color, cut and style. Definitely on the cheaper end but I love the lady that does it and she does a great job!

We have a deal at home... I don't ask about salons, eyebrows, nails, etc. and they don't ask me about guns, ammo and tac gear.

My cut and style $40, I get both highlights and lowlights that includes a glaze for shine. For a full I never walk out for less than $250 A partial is slightly less. I have an excellent colorist and don't mind the cost.

On average, about $15-$30 for a haircut, but I generally only get a trim as I have kept my hair long for about the last 14 years. I last bobbed my hair about 15 years ago.

I have paid as much as $200 for highlights/cut/style, and the most I ever paid for a hair service was $250 (not including the hair I had to buy) when I got long extensions put in (about 10 years ago). It was actually a deal because my regular hair girl was just starting out doing them and I was one of her guinea pigs, it was a 3-4 hour process. NEVER AGAIN. She did a good job, but it's too high freakin maintenance.

Now, and for the last 3 years or so, I have been going to D'Jay at Visions, and for about $85 on average (not including tip) I get highlights/cut/style, and she does an excellent job. That is a great deal.
