The latest hair craze.

Blue. Green Pink. All over. Tips.

I get it. it's cute on younger girls. I like it on the ends better.
BUT.
Please. If you're a woman of a certain age and you know what that age is
Please reconsider this trend. It's really not for you. Oh. And it looks horrible with bleach blond hair.

You're welcome.

And by certain age you do mean anyone over 21, right?

Best way to do it is with clip in extensions. No commitment, and once you realize you look silly, you just take them out. I have used extensions or hair chalk for certain sporadic events, like rock concerts, etc. But it's not an everyday thing, and I couldn't do it at work even if I wanted to. Both my daughter and son (age 4 and 7) love the hair chalk, but it doesn't last long. It's out within a few hours. I wish they had as many cool products out 20 years ago that they have now. I really wanted to dye my hair blue for prom in high school, but my Mom wouldn't let me, so I had to settle for jet black ( I was one of those weird Goth kids).

I have seen some really pretty colors - the purples and burgundys are amazing when done correctly. The blues and greens not so much.

Oh and I think if someone is young enough at heart - and your company won't fire you - go for it!

I say if you got it flaunt it, but I've seen some that resemble snowcones.

I saw a lady at the grocery store last weekend that was probably early 60s. She turned around to say something to me and she had a spot of prink in the front of her white/gray hair. I know I hesitated before speaking to her because it threw me off. Wasn't expecting to see that. I saw a week or so ago Kelly Ripa had died hers blue or green. She is too old for that. I think it looks fine of the younger ones, but the older folks--not so much.

Correct me if I wrong those who are from the 60's and 70's, or maybe even the 50's but didn't the elderly ladies back then have a light tint of blue??

I think women should do as they please regardless of age. We are not here to decorate the world but live free and enjoy our bodies as we choose. Probably that opinion doesn't surprise anyone.

Maybe not fashionable here but I was in Germany last month and almost everyone ( young, old, women ESP but some men) had some sort of color in their hair. Pink, blue, red, black and real were the most common. Sometimes I felt out of place
Actually I found the people there pretty laid back- more so than here for sure

I look at it this way- to each their own- they're not harming anyone. We as women are too judgemental of other women and it goes from generation to generation. My Mom strongly believed NO woman should leave the house without a girdle and make up. Also after 30- no shorts, dresses and akirts at the knees and no long hair. I wouldn't ever leave the house!!
