There is no blood test for a concussion and these athletes can fake not having the symptoms if they want to play hard enough. I just don't see how he couldn't.

When I had a grade 3 concussion last year, I thought I was fine the first couple days. Looking back I realize I wasn't. The worst symptoms hit days after injury. Periods of near blindness, loss of smell for months, severe memory issues, dizziness. I would forget a common word totally or say a completely wrong word. I had to stop watching tv, using cell phones and computers, no reading, no driving to start getting better.

Curry is also the most amazing ball handler and shooter I've seen since MJ. Definitely the MVP.

Now days though, they have athletes take a baseline test to know what normal is for them with regards to concussions, then they run the same test to check after shots to the head. Hard to fake, but possible.

Can't rule out the MD's being told to get the player back in either.

Heard on ESPN this afternoon that Thompson had dizziness after the game to the point he could not drive himself home. And, when he got home, he threw up several times. Sounds like a concussion to me!
