They are sisters. 14 weeks, 8.5 lbs of fluff
They love each other and play well.
I don't think they have been handled very much. They get limp when held. They could be in a crate all day. I have to reach in and grab them to come out. They are warming up. They are both at my feet snuggled together.

@lola What is the breed? Good Lord...I'm so in love with their pics! Mostly concerned about our dog (a VERY loyal and protective, smart and somewhat docile GSD by nature). We've been talking about getting her a companion...she needs to take care of something now that our kiddos are so busy (spayed and rescued @9 weeks, so never had pups). She's definitely a herder! Someone stop me!

No one's going to stop you, these precious girls are already yours. Doggie slumber party this weekend to try it out?I will say that my yorkie rescue took over a month to warm up to us and now he's the pack leader of all the dogs and humans here. I'm betting their shyness is temporary.

They are poodle mixes.
They are doing great with my herding dogs. Mine have seen lots of dogs come through though. I'll bet yours would be fine. They were chasing each other in the back yard. My 9 yr old dog started running too. She was happy to see some play going on. Our adoptions start with a 2 week trial. We could arrange a weekend trial.
They got their first puppy booster today. They will get 2 more in the next 6 weeks then they will be ready to be spayed.
The need a professional trim.

She's a long haired Dachshund mix @ 5 months old. I have her and 2 Chi mixes currently. Along with a Beautiful Boxer that I hopefully have a home for Fri! Lol
