Our Gov recommends not tasting or eating raw or undercooked ground meat .Ground meat is ground through machines & can easily be contaminated with bacteria throughout the meat.
Cooking steak you sear the outside of the meat & the inside never touched a surface that could contaminate it . So you can eat a rare steak . Temperature danger zones range between 40 & 140 degrees so keep colder than 4o degrees & cook hotter than 140 degrees .
After messing with meat I clean everything in my Kit with Clorox & liquid detergent . All the seasoning containers I touched , faucet handles , sink, counters it all gets cleaned before the food is finished cooking . Some of these bacteria's can kill you . I know older folks know this but I know we have some young folks & this is something they need to know .
