My last 12 hrs:: Really? I don't think life gets any better than this! I have a wife and 5 kids age range from 4- 16. I'm self employed and work a lot of Saturday's or atleast half the day, so I came home stressing last night (weather/work related)and my 15 yr old is at a friends,12 yr old the same, so we decide to go out for Mexican. Had a great dinner, ( only one margarita)fun time, come home and my wife and 16 yr old decide to sit on the porch talking( boys, 16 yr old drama,just general man bashing, but great bonding time) having a wine cooler each I might add. So I take my 4 and 6 yr old inside to have my 4 yr old fall asleep in daddy's arms on the couch( which I let her sleep on the couch all night and then slept with my 6 yr old in his bunk bed, they both loved it and so did I. Then to wake up this morning on a beautiful day sitting outside w coffee, they wake up, come running out sitting on my lap and just loving the personal daddy time, I don't have much, but my God I've been blessed! Just a reminder, don't take things for granted, every once in a while sit back and appreciate what you have. Btw, letting the wife sleep in, making bacon and eggs,and doing dishes! She deserves it! (Plus when she sees my post, I'm golden!)
