Sweet tamales are also traditional.
We make some every new year but ours is not colored.

I love sweet corn tamales. I'd try these. Mi Tienda is really cool. So much variety. It's a little odd seeing whole pigs hanging from hooks in the meat dept though.

Sweet corn tamales are the bomb! The lady who tan Tipico Cafe made the best!!

The best sweet corn are found at Delia's in the valley. I think Alamo has them but I don't think Granny's does.
