Facials? I am wanting to get my mother a facial/mani/pedi for Christmas. I have no idea where to go since I myself don't do facials. Any advise would be appreciated.
If you can get away a bit - try the Spa at the San Luis Resort in Galveston. You can use all of the services at the hotel except actually getting in the pool without booking an actual room. Their spa is very nice. And then relax by the pool and eat their delicious food and drinks.
My wife gets a facial about 6 times a year, in Kingwood, and when she gets home her face is all red, so I don't really know what goes on there. I'll ask her the name of the place and post tomorrow. Also, I have a friend going to the same place in Kingwood, and she get a lot more done (down there) than just the face, so I guess it is a one-stop-shopping place.
If you want a relaxing facial, be sure to tell the tech that you do not want any extractions before she gets started. Then it'll just be cleansing/steaming/mask/moisturizer etc.
I recommend Persona Day Spa in Houston. Pricy but awesome.
@Fiona Yes! The food is so good in their little restaurant and they will deliver to the pool. Even better, splurge on a little poolside cabana which comes with champagne and fruit and a private tv.
