We are in the South and we heard something that sounded like shotgun shots nearby. Sounded from East of us but not far.

hmm...this sounded more like a 9mm...but it sounded like it was in my back yard. My dog went nuts and it scared my kids.

I head something in the distance and I am in Pinehurst.Remember the strange sounds from a few years ago? Maybe they are back.

My sister lives in the south and heard the gunshots too. She said it sounded far away.

was it 3 shots, then a few seconds later another 3? Im in Walden , i thought it was fireworks.

Did anyone hear any sirens? My sister didn't...so I'm guessing it wasn't reported. Weird.

In Atasca Woods by pool.....heard 3 pops also....no sirens.

Sounds like a wild night in A-town.

Do they allow hunting in the wooded areas? Kids may be shooting guns at stuff in there. When a new subdivision was being built i saw kids with what looked to be guns running around. My son told me they were either paintball or airsoft guns. They could have upgraded from those? Killing the wildlife? Either way i notified the police.
