My oldest woke me up with the news. Being a true baseball fan he is completely heartbroken. He was very talented. A true inspiration and success story. Absolutely tragic.

@Dragonlovermom I know. I have been reading about him. It is so sad when anyone dies, especially someone so young. I love the fact that Miami cancelled their game today.

This is terrible news. He was a special pitcher with a great career ahead of him.

He was a joy to watch. I wasn't a fan of the Marlins but much respect for him, everything he overcame from fleeing Cuba to Tommy John surgery.. . And he's was having a tremendous year.
