When they lived in the house,shoes went behind front door!

They both have their own bench for their shoes and bags. Whhhyyyyy won't they use them??!!!

Hummmm rule have to hunt shoes loose 10 minutes of......insert their favorite thing....

Because they know mom will pick them up.

I've got kids shoes all over. I beg and plead with them to put them by the front door or in their closet but apparently the kitchen floor is much easier.

Hide them and they can't have back till they do 5 chores!

Mine does that sometimes. We take the shoes off in the house and leave them behind the front door but hers always end up under her bed or in her closet, I don't know how else to say "No shoes in the house".

But why did they both have a pair in my bedroom? Just because my room is cleaner?

I hate to admit it but I go looking for mys shoes all the time and usually just grab another pair. I will put myself in time out,

My old boss drove his three kids 5, 9, 11 to school one day. They get to the school, which was 15-20 miles away, and the 5 yr-old declares that she doesn't have any shoes on. The 9 yr-old boy had extra tennis shoes for PE, so Dad made her wear those all day. lol. He had to rush off for a day of performing surgeries, so he didn't talk to the wife all day. When she picked up the 5 yr-old daughter from school and saw that she had been in giant shoes all day, she was livid. My boss couldn't figure out what the big deal was and said he did it to teach her a lesson to always put her shoes away in the front door basket so she could find them. The wife was ****. But, in the next several years that I worked for him, that child never forgot her shoes again!

Only problem was my middle one would decide on my house shoes or flip flops and off he went (even to school) and yes they all were barefoot kids

Give him some pretty rhinestoned flip flops to wear. That would definitely work!

Child was told several times wrong shoes or those are to big for you and it probably hurt so learned lesson!
