Ladies where do you buy your swim wear? I've got to get something and I'm really not looking forward to it.

@Dragonlovermom
Last time I got my suit at Kohl's. But you gotta dig for matching pieces which I think is the standard for Kohl's.

I've also bought at macys..

@Dragonlovermom I bought my swimdress 4 weeks before my Destin vacation. So I made sure I had plenty of time in case it did not fit right! But turns out it fit very well and I loved all the compliments

I like the thick high quality of Lands End, but I'm also super cheap, so I buy them off ebay, (brand new not worn ones)

Bought my last one at Palais Royal, one bottom with two coordinating tops. My favorite I found at JC Penny. Great sales right now.

I also like J Crew. Aydenberry101 is a reputable shop on ebay, new suits with tags and she take returns as long as you pay the shipping. I get like 3 or 4 each year and try them on, then return what didn't work and keep what does. Return shipping on box of bathing suits is less than $10 and that is worth not having to go to actual shops. Plus you are getting a $80 suit for $ 30

I guess you have to be OK knowing maybe someone else tried them on, but you get that at a department store anyways.

Kohls, JCPenney, Macy's but my best ever suits came from the small swim wear shops along the Florida beaches. They were high guality and lasted forever. Their cover ups or loungers were great.

I will second @Cabin_Mama's Lands End recommendation. They are thick fabric and last forever. You can buy all styles of one piece suits as well as mix and match two pieces in all styles. They are petite thru plus. I bought my two piece last summer and it still looks like brand new.

I've found cute swim suit tops at Target, Macy's, and online. I like to mix and match tops and bottoms so I usually buy 3 or 4 solid color bottoms and buy tops that match in diff patterns & styles! Victoria's Secret end of season sale online has good prices for tops & cover ups as well, Venus Swimwear online has good prices as well.

@Dragonlovermom Have had good luck with Kohls. I usually try some on to get style and size. If nothing in store, order online. I did buy a suit once that when it was wet it was a creeper.....tug and pull. Returned no questions, no problems, no receipt (was on my Kohls card). Happy shopping!

If you need good coverage up top, I highly recommend Lands End. I do the underwire bra top bikini, bottoms, and a rash guard swim shirt. Looks cute, keeps everything covered without frump.
